The recommended daily requirement for HUGS is:
four per day for survival,
eight per day for maintenance,
and twelve per day for growth.
Virginia Satir said that.
For those of you who don't know who Virginia Satir is, she is well worth asking Mr Google about....
Are YOU getting enough hugs? Unless you live with a huggy family of 4, the answer might be NO.
I don't hug EVERYONE, I must admit. Although, I have started hugging again recently. With some people it is imparative for me to hug them. I couldn't imagine NOT. Hugs are the most fun transfer of energy you can experience.
(hmmmmmm with your clothes on- I should rephrase that but I won't)
TaDah! Since we are making rules and regs for 2012, LET'S ADD : Hug more. So f*cking simple.
Now, let's get a few things straight. There IS hug etiquette. This is different for everyone so
you have to be on your toes. It's called SELF AWARENESS KIDS (and we MUST talk about THAT in detail SOON).
FOR EXAMPLE: dont hug too long,
F*CK that is just creepy.
Unless you are a very close friend or are hugging as a means of comfort- DO NOT hug too long. Unless it's foreplay but we 're not talking about that right meow.
That being said, DON'T be a darty hugger.Dart in. Quick hug. Run away.....
Mean it, Damnit!
Show me you want the hug as much as I do.
Call me crazy......
Some people say animal hugs count more than human hugs. Give your pet a squeeze and get back to me.
I'm off to hug my son, he's a teenager and will probably give me a funny look and wonder what's up but hey, im working towards those 12 per day for growth..... sounds kinda easypeasy to me.
Ready for Monday? guuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuh
